Jessica Heimark, M.S., LMFT
Jessica is Pathway's Director of Clinical Services. Jessica received her Bachelor's of Clinical Psychology from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin in 2009. Immediately following, she received her Master's of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the same institution in 2011. She has been providing therapeutic services for the past 4 years. Jessica enjoys approaching her client's from a systemic perspective. Jessica doesn't just look at what is going on with her client, but also about how their environments are influencing the stressors they're experiencing. Using compassion, directness, and evidence based practices; Jessica will work with her clients to create change at the pace the client is looking for. Jessica believes in a collaborative approach with her clients, and believes in teaching new ways of coping to replace the ways that aren't working anymore.
Our team of Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPCs) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) provide counseling services for individuals, families, couples, and also group therapy.
Therapists are trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Marriage and Family Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Skills System, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Gottman Method for couples, Mindfulness, and Psychoeducation.
Brandi Sanders, M.A., LCPC, CADC
Brandi is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with the state of Illinois. She received her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis University, where she also received her Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Forensic Criminal Investigation. She has experience working with adults, children, and families struggling with a wide range of concerns. She also has experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities and those who are dually diagnosed. Brandi enjoys working with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, eating disorders and numerous other issues. Brandi uses interpersonal and cognitive behavioral therapies, mindfulness techniques and assertiveness education in her work with individuals and families. She assists her clients to examine beliefs, habits, behaviors and unresolved family of origin issues that contribute to personal and relationship stress.
